Britain’s first female porn director, Anna Span, is taking on a new challenge – to become part of the Parliament!

Span, otherwise known as Anna Arrowsmith, has been chosen as a Liberal Democrat candidate in the general election for a seat in Gravesham in Kent.

“Explaining why she wanted to be an MP, the 38-year-old – whose films include Where’s The Rent Boys? (sic) – said she was ‘disgusted’ by the MPs’ expenses scandal and believes women are under-represented in Parliament.

Mrs Arrowsmith, who is fighting Tory Adam Holloway’s seat of Gravesham in Kent, said: ‘I am not a professional politician, I have worked all my life to set up a successful business and I want to fight for the rights of people in Gravesham.’”

After seeing the fruits of Span’s dedication to changing the porn industry and making it more female friendly, we have total faith that she will rock political office and make Britain an even better (and sexier!) place to be!
