So it’s Friday and after I got that interesting question on yaoi earlier in the week (seriously made my week gals, keep them anime/manga/hentai questions coming) I thought maybe it was time for me to delve into a series I’ve been keeping on the back burner. “Words Worth” is an epic series by hentai standards with five episodes all total and has some romantic elements, in that it deals with a Prince of a kingdom and his fiance and their quest to bring peace to the realms, and their raging loins, along the way. Or at least that’s what I think the story is about, but it’s complicated and I’m really relying on the video descriptions a lot for this one. I figured I’d take a peek at volume 1 and see if it could satisfy any of my girly desires for romance as well as my baser urges.

“Words Worth Vol.1″ definitely gets off to a good start. With its lengthy devotion to laying out a plot that seems more than worthy of the 5 episodes it takes to be concluded. It actually starts out feeling more like an anime than a hentai at all, right down to the fully clothed female backdrop characters and the focus on the male main character that’s quickly and lovingly shown to be somewhat of a lacksadaisy rogue of a Prince.

Once sex starts to come into play it’s done in a very subdued way with a peeping shower scene that I’ve got to say is top notch. The detail where the blonde female character, Sharon, bends over and water drips delicately between her thighs and off her golden bush was obviously very lovingly portrayed and aptly so, since it’s shortly revealed that the seemingly care-free Prince Astral is Sharon’s fiancé. Unfortunately for Astral, Sharon is wishing he was a stronger type of man and holds him in the highest contempt, so peeking at her in the shower is probably the closest the prince is ever going to get to that luscious body for quite some time.

Luckily for Prince Astral, there’s a cute catgirl with a crush on him that is more than willing to help him become the kind of strong man that Sharon desires. Or just help Astral out of his pants. Actually this particular catgirl is plenty tame, at least in this episode, preferring to blush demurely rather than strip down. Watch out for the lecherous anthropomorphic character known as Stallion instead – he has rapey tendencies. The sex scene that follows is actually rather cute as far as hentai scenes go, but it does kind of ruin the romantic angle Astral was going for, as he gets sidetracked heading to Sharon’s side by a naked prisoner and Sharon probably gets captured as a consequence.

After watching vol. 1, I’m actually really curious about what’s coming up in the subsequent episodes but a lot less sexually satisfied than I’ve been with other hentai. On the romantic front “Words Worth Vol. 1″ just missed the mark, starting out really strong but then jumping right over the potential romantic hook ups for the totally random stranger. It’s definitely a series I’d like to see more of but this episode alone didn’t satisfy any sexual or romantic desires for me.
