Yay, it’s the last week before Halloween and I’m totally in the swing of my favorite holiday already. It’s time to get serious about spooky sexy time and I’ve found what will hopefully be an understated classic of the debauched type, “The Inquisition Volume 8 – Dungeon Of Pain!” Is there anything more terrifying than the Inquisition? Possibly not – but can it be sexy? Only one way to find out!
It’s in German but they’re not speaking too much and it seems pretty easy to understand as three women are led into a cell wearing rags and looking unkempt. I don’t know how they got access to a real underground dungeon with earthen walls and iron bars but it, along with the homey costumes definitely serves to give the film a feeling of immediacy and drama. Few adult films capture a period feeling as well as this one seems to. They even covered the floor with straw. Though the inclusion of a black woman in the group of three is a little disconcerting, weren’t we all considered to be godless/soulless heathens beyond saving at that time?
They start things off pretty simple taunting the girls with food and slapping them now and again with a flexible rod. Eventually, what looks like a noble woman shows up, dressed in black and inspects the prisoners. After that things start to get really interesting as they ready the chamber and their captives are moved to the new room.
After all that tension they start out by shaving the black one, she’s terribly thin with small natural breasts. They use a really big knife to do the shaving with and accidently nick a few places along the way (ok maybe not so accidently) then pour what looks like boiling water over her crotch to clean her off. Yeah, I’d be screaming at this point too. What they do to her next, is truly worthy of the Inquisition. Let’s just say it involves suspension – and fire. It ends with what I can only hope is a lot of mud.
I’d say that “The Inquisition” series of films is a much harder BDSM film than even I’m used to. Scary acts, in a location that’s strikes fear and loathing into most everyone’s heart. Coupled with shoddy lighting (this is a plus in some scenes as it adds to the authenticity and a minus in others as it takes away from the visibility of the acts) leaves much to the imagination and forces one to strain forward to see and then flings you back as you feel that you’ve seen just a little too much. All in all a pretty awesome horror treat, in my book, though you’d have to have a serious BDSM fetish to get off on this one as there’s absolutely no sex in it.
