“The End Game” features your classic inattentive husband/cheating wife plot line that manages to explore a few new and interesting twists along the way. For example the inattentive husband isn’t actually inattentive he’s just horribly afraid of germs and his wife – well she’s a little too stuck on anal for his delicate sensibilities. So she finds someone else willing to explore her back end. What’s good for the goose proves good for the gander when he comes across a sexy young scientist who’s working on a new type of antibiotic. And of course as only happens in porn, and really smutty romance novels, everything works up to a very passionate ending.
My biggest peeve in the movie – too many cookie cutter blonds jam crammed into one movie. Seriously cookie cutter: hair all down to the middle of their back, not a single one a natural blond, twice there are two ladies on screen wearing nearly the exact same thing, all of them affecting unpleasant breathy or high voices. I’m not looking for equal representation in fantasy sex – just some variety. I have a thing for blonds myself, but I really only drool over redheads and a really hot brunette can’t be beat, next time maybe Vivid will toss in a few more. There was only one brunette to speak of along with a couple natural dirty blonds but by the time any of them appeared on screen I’d already started mentally inserting my favorite starlets.
Still I’ve got to hand it to the director most of the sex scenes in this movie were hotter than hot. The opening anal scene was awesome and the scene where the germophobic husband meets the disinfectant scientist and literally lunges across the counter at her, also very hot. The movie boasts two really steamy threesome scenes as well; one with double girls and one with double guys so there’s one for almost every taste. The only scene that fizzled for me was the lesbian bathroom scene. Extra long nails jabbed in delicate places equal owies – not oh’s!
Over all, a better than average screenplay helped draw me into “The End Game” where the cookie cutter sexy blondes didn’t; there’s more than a few funny lines in the movie, I even liked the conclusion to the storyline – everything can be solved with alcohol. Definitely a movie I’d recommend for a little happy hand time, I’d say it’d be great to watch as a couple too – but the whole cheating theme might just ruin the mood.
