I wasn’t sure what to expect when I clicked on the Sweetheart Video pick from the 2009 Feminist Porn Award nominees. Described as a black and white “silent film” farce with the sex scenes filmed in full color and sound, My Little Minx not only fascinated me, it kind of confused me too. What exactly is a silent lesbian farce? And how hot is it?? Well, it turns out that a silent lesbian farce is a super hot way to bring something a little different to the porno table. Writer/Director Nica Noelle brought back the jazzy/rag-time piano music and text boxes of early motion pictures to tell the story of sexy minx Aubrey Addams making her way around the local lezzie hotel and kissin’ all the ladies. While Addams doesn’t get anything more than a couple of kisses, she does incite a few sexy, angry fueled trysts when some of the women find their girlfriends smoochin’ up on her.

My favorite scene of the movie is the last one, featuring Michelle Lay and Nina Hartley. I seriously can’t watch Nina Hartley fuck without thinking about how insanely amazing sex with her would be. She is so warm, frisky and totally into it, how could you not have fun? Well, Michelle Lay certainly did, as deciphered from her wild screams. One thing I love about Sweetheart Video’s films is that all the sex and passion is real. No fake orgasms here. I love that I know without a doubt that I am really watching someone enjoying themselves and actually getting off. It makes the whole experience that much hotter. -J.D. Bauchery
