As you probably know by now, I’m all about hot man sex, so I was excited to see this year’s GAYVN nominations announced recently. There were plenty of nominations for the big studios that seem to dominate every year like Rascal, but plenty of nice surprises for a few smaller studios.

Here are a few nominees that I’ve watched over the course of the year and can definitely recommend!

Handyman Volume 5 : Up for Best Solo Film and directed by Tina Tyler, this is one of my favorite solo flicks of the year. Cover boy Ken was by far my favorite with his hot ink, cut body and thick dick.

Betrayed : Betrayed is nominated for Best Picture and Best Screenplay and I’m pulling for it to win for two reasons. First, it’s a really hot movie packed full of plot and hot men fucking. Secondly, compared to the powerhouse studios, FPG is pretty small and I’m all about rooting for the little guy. And while Joe Strong doesn’t look his best on the cover in my opinion, he’s one smokin’ hot Latin dude.

Hazzard Zone:I’m guessing you aren’t surprised to see my boy Johnny Hazzard and Performer of the Year nominee highlighted here… Well, guess who was nominated for best cum shot? So, I’m not really into cumshots, it just doesn’t do much for me, but this movie is dirty and awesome. The last scene with Hazzard and Vinnie D’Angelo is super great.

Collin O’Neal’s World Of Men – East Berlin:East Berlin is another movie that had two nominations, Best Pro-Am Film and Best Sex Scene – Duo. O’Neal’s movies have been winners the past couple of years and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him honored again. I mean, what’s not to like about hot guys fucking across the globe?

Bling: Despite the unfortunate title, Bling is nominated for Best Ethnic-Themed Film and a movie I’ve been meaning to talk about since I first saw it on the site. David’s solo in the first scene is definitely worth seeing unless you hate gorgeous men with perfect bodies. I also really liked the third with Suicide, Kapone and their six packs. Good movie with dudes who aren’t white!
