Studio: Vivid Premium Category: 2010 AVN Award Nominees

So it’s time for the very last 2010 nominee before the big awards ceremony tomorrow. When I saw the title for this one I just thought it was fitting plus, “Heaven,” has almost as many nominations as “Cry Wolf” did and that was totally one of the most awesome adult movies of the year.

Ok, so the beginning isn’t as nice as “Cry Wolf” with its nearly instant fade to strip club followed by mutual masturbation in a large SUV. But its par for the course for “Heaven” since it’s set around a strip club with dancers making up several of the key performers. This allows the performers to play to their usual strengths and minimum work to be done establishing a plot, throw in a hard up old club owner who’s girlfriend doesn’t want to fuck him add an bouncer with ambitions and a gambling problem, insta-plot in porn terms anyway.

I have to give it to Tommy Gunn here as far as his performance as an actor; it is definitely top notch in this film. Tommy managed to deliver his lines with great believability, even when playing a socially/sexually awkward young man. It’s endearing and adorable, which the movie could definitely have used a little bit more of from my standpoint.

All that hesitation and ineptitude disappears once he returns to Heaven’s house and the two get down to the lengthy business of getting it on. Their chemistry is probably the best in the film which is a good thing as it’s also one of the longer scenes. Definitely makes for one of the hotter spots in the film.

Well, “Cry Wolf” it definitely wasn’t but “Heaven” does have a trick or two up its sleeve to keep you watching, you just have to wait till the middle to really find them. I’d say it’s as good a movie as any for a wank off session, especially if you’re into mainstream porn titles that feature lots of anal.
