So, here’s the thing about porn – when a dirty movie uses the word “weird,” they usually aren’t messing around.  Nine out of ten times a “weird” movie is gonna feature something out of the “ordinary,” or on the kinky fringes of the mainstream (think amputee fetishism and adult baby, cock and ball torture combos*).   And when I watch movies with weird in the title, I am well aware what I am signing up for, and I’m more often than not pretty excited about it.  Unfortunately for me, Girls Gone Weird Volume 1 isn’t even the least bit weird.  Only mildly kinky, with a few artsy features.

Now, don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying that this is a bad movie at all.  In fact, I definitely enjoyed it.  The sex is really hot and each scene features great angles and a variety of action.  I really liked the fast forwarded jerk off in scene 2.  There is totally something to be said about trying new and exciting things in porno.

As I said above, this flick offers up some light kink, with lots of straight up vanilla masturbation in between.  By light kink, I mean that it would be a great beginner video for folks looking to introduce kinky porn into their lives.  Especially people who prefer edgier and alt performers.

One thing I am going to be perfectly blunt about is that this “weird” porno is full to the hilt with some of the worst music I’s ever heard.  It’s a mix between electronic dance beats and some sort of Latin grooves at one point, and crazy alien music at other points.  I’d much rather have the music toned down and listen to moaning.  Oh well, there is always the mute button.

All in all, the name bugged me a ton, but the actual movie gets one thumbs up on my end.
