And here we are.  On the last scene of Cabaret Desire.  I am bummed that I won’t get to spend any more time getting paid to watch this porno that I have placed quite high on a pedestal that will never topple over.  I have been impressed, turned on, entertained and whisked away by each and every scene.  It really makes me want to take a vacation to Barcelona and have sex in airy bedrooms with open windows.  I want to have outdoor brunch with all of my friends, then I want to go to an underground cabaret and drink champagne until the sun comes up.  Take me away, Cabaret Desire!

The last tale is told by 2 people – a man and a woman.  It just so happens that they tell the story of a man and woman is the story of two people who met, spent 3 days together locked in an apartment fucking wildly and passionately the entire time.  Estranged from each other, they decide to meet up 1 year later.  We hear their inner dialogue, questioning their choices, feeling silly, nervous and excited.  As they make their way to the meeting place we flashback to the mind blowing sex they had.

The two have incredible passionate sex as expected.  Tons of connection, eye contact and great facial expressions.  I love watching her clench the sheets as he enters her from behind.  I love the beautiful camera angles – sometimes seeing the penetration and sometimes just faces.  I love watching her put the condom on his cock.  I love that they fuck during the day.  It is beautiful and sexy.

We return to our beautiful brunette waiting restlessly at the bar and our boy anxiously peddling towards her on his bicycle.  A flat tire causes him to be late and he criticizes himself for “always ruining everything”.  As the minutes keep on ticking she keeps sipping champagne until the bottle is gone.  Just when she gives up, he finally arrives.  The two embrace and that is that.

The scene fades and we make our way back the reality of the cabaret.  A funny little song plays us out.  Before I had a chance to get sad about the movie coming to an end I realized that Erika Lust included two short films that I have never watched before, Handcuffs and Room 33.  Watch them if you haven’t yet.  Wow. Oh my god.  Just… wow.
