And now for something totally different. While I never specifically thought that I would be super excited about a merging of porno and the Ah Ha “Take On Me” video, in reality, it’s actually pretty awesome. Amber Chase brings us a graphic novel dirty movie that incorporates comic styling with hot lesbian action, which I have to say is pretty impressive. She narrates the whole experience – an aspect I find really exciting. But then again, I love me some dirty talk.
As neat as the effect of the comic style is, I find it a tiny bit distracting in getting into the sex. Maybe it’s because I keep wondering if the drawing effect is a filter in Final Cut Pro, or if it is something more detailed. I can’t help but find that stuff interesting, and my nerdiness overpowers the sexy thoughts in my head. I also find the effect loses the details of their bodies, which is a bit of a bummer and kind of neat at the same time. I really can’t decide if I enjoy the graphic novelness of the movie, or if I find it a little annoying.
I will say that I am having a hell of a time concentrating on any of what Amber is saying or what the comic storyline is – I am too focused on the visuals. I do note that her voice is a little melodic and makes me want to fall asleep. The voice is a little too “coffee shop poetry reading” for my tastes. Like I said, I can’t even hone in on what she is saying, but the intonation of her voice is kind of “meh” enough that, honestly, I don’t particularly care.
When it comes to the actual action that is happening on the screen, even the comic style and the talking can’t take my attention from the way that Amber holds Diane Deluna’s pussy open wide and plunges her tongue into it. That is pretty amazing, I must say. Nice work ladies.
All in all, the sex is hot, the talking is a little annoying and the comic “animation” is a novelty for a few minutes, but then I got bored of it. I think that other people will probably be totally into it though, so give it a try!
