Yesterday marked the kickoff of Transgender Awareness Week 2009, the time of year when folks bring special attention to the discrimination and violence that trans people face every day, all for just being themselves. Along with actions, panels, performances and awareness events all over the country, the week culminates with International Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th, when we pay tribute to all the transfolks who have been killed by prejudice and hatred.

We here at HM4Her know how important transgender awareness is to the fight against discrimination and ignorance.  To do our part in creating a culture of awareness, we want to make sure everyone knows about the amazing trans porn studios that we are so very lucky to carry!

Morty Diamond Productions: Run exclusively by Morty Diamond, an FTM (female to male) transgender director and producer, Morty Diamond Productions is dedicated to presenting transgender sex that is outrageously hot, sexy and downright fun to watch!  This was some of the first trans porn I ever had the pleasure to watch and I was totally hooked!  This movie (Trans Entities: The Nasty Love of Papi and Wil) even made it into one of my school projects.  Hurray for academic pervs!

Pink and Whte Productions: While some of the folks who fuck for Pink and White might not identify as transgender, this studio makes sure to include  identities that run the entire gender spectrum.  No matter who is humping who, when Crash Pad comes on the screen, my eyes are glued.  Plus, this video (Crash Pad Series – Episode 9: Julie & Michelle) is the best MTF porn I’ve ever seen – and the only one that’s not “chicks with dicks” shemale porn.  AND it won for Steamiest Trans Scene at the 2009 Feminist Porn Awards.  Woohoo!

Trannywood Pictures: This small San Francisco company is all about featuring their fine queer and trans man candy along with safe sex and an educational spin.  Their movies are quality flicks that bring all definitions of “man” to the plate in the sexiest ways possible.

Fatale Media: Though the description of this studio presents it as “by lesbians, for lesbians,” Fatale flicks are full to the hilt of hot trans guys and folks of all identities.  One of the first studios of it’s kind, Fatale is responsible for rocking this genre and making accessible porn for queers all around!

Buck Angel Entertainment: The original Man With A Pussy, Buck Angel started making FTM porn back before there was a FTM porn genre to talk of.  Full of the hottest hardcore and lots of big butch daddies, Buck Angel Entertainment movies are sexy, fun and totally rough and tumble.  So worth a watch!

Reel Queer Productions: Just like some of the other studios listed above, Reel Queer Productions offers up performers from all over the gender spectrum, bringing a delectable diversity to each and every scene they shoot.  Hell, director Courtney Trouble even won the Feminist Porn Award for Most Deliciously Diverse Cast for her super queer, amazing hot NoFauxxx Roulette.  All of their movies are must sees in my book!
