Next week HotMoviesForHer and Sinclair Sexsmith will be hosting another Porn Party, with the fabulous Alpha Femmes as our movie of choice. To help us celebrate, Alpha Femme’s director Anna Devia stopped in to answer our 20 Questions and give us a sneak peak into the woman behind such a hot piece of porno!

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
In 1998, I started shooting erotic & fetish art photography and building a body of work. After I moved from Texas to LA in 2000, I continued shooting & started selling content, doing portfolio development for models, head shots, catalogs, private commissions, gallery shows, etc. In 2008, I moved to Oakland and worked as a sex educator for Babeland. Fueled by all the porn I was watching at work constantly, and just the natural evolution of my photography, I decided to start making films. So I created Anna Devia Productions and released Alpha Femmes and here I am.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
My work is not limited to adult. I do work in the healing arts as well, which is also about “the body” but on the completely non-sexual end of the spectrum.
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
I’ve learned the difference between the “scene” and the “industry.”
4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
Construction workers next door to the house where we were filming were getting sneak peeks of the action through this big picture window during one of the scenes. One guy was standing behind a beam on the second floor peeping around it.
5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
That we’re victims, rather than warriors
6. What did you do today?
Massage appointment, therapy appointment, hair appointment

7. What would you rather have done today?
I’d rather have been on a yacht in some amazing tropical locale, sipping cocktails while lounging under an umbrella.
8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?
Kenneth Anger, and with his permission of course lest he curse me, I’d like to title it “Hollyweird Babylon.”
9. Who is your favorite adult performer?
Belladonna
10. You’ve got 20 bucks left to your name; what would you do with it?
Buy us a coupla pints?
11. If you were president, what’s the first thing you’d change?
I’d hit the history eraser button.

12. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
If I told you then it might destroy my mystique
~
13. Which is your favorite project that you’ve worked on?
Alpha Femmes was an amazing process from conception through production. I brought 4 of my fantasies to life, down to every detail, and it came out truly beautiful & intense & amazingly fucking hot!
14. If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?
Time-travel, so I could go back and experience different historical periods, and have vintage sex. And also so I could travel into the future, and hopefully have sex with 3-titted aliens. Is that a superpower?
15. Meat or veggie?
Vegetarian for 17+years
16. What is your favorite book?
New York Girls by Richard Kern
17. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Lack of manners, it’s my southern upbringing
18. What is your best piece of sex advice for women?
Hitachi Magic Wand!
19. What is your favorite adult movie?
Don’t be silly! Alpha Femmes, of course!
20. Tell me one thing you’ve never told anyone else.
Hmm, I find eating sliced peaches in light syrup to be a very sensual act.
We can’t wait for the Porn Party on Monday! Come watch Alpha Femmes with us, and Anna Devia, for FREE! (Check back on Monday for the code!)
xoxo

When we first got the chance to interview Domino Presley, I have to be honest that I didn’t really know her work at all. Once we sent her the questions, I hopped on the site and did a little research, and I sure am I glad I did! This lady is hot stuff! And I’m not the only one who thinks so – she was awarded the 2011 Tranny Awards ‘Shemale Yum Model of the Year’ and ‘Best New Model.’ How exciting! Plus, when we got her answers back we got to see just how awesomely witty and fun she is as well. And just to mention, we haven’t had the opportunity to chat with many trans stars working in the mainstream industry, so we added a few questions that would be specific to her own experiences. Give a read and get to know the fabulous Domino Presley!
1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
Almost 2 years ago. I contacted Buddy Wood about shooting me and the rest is history.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I would probably still be performing at clubs or modeling.
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
Don’t believe everything you hear.
4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
I shoot anal, so you can use your imagination
5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
That they’re powerless and are being used as sex objects.
6. What did you do today?
Hung out with my niece, sister, and mother. Then, I hung out with my Atlanta friends.
7. What would you rather have done today?
Maybe, it would have been nice to get plowed, but the night is still young.
8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?
Carey Hart or Vin Diesel. Oh Tommy Lee!!!
9. Who is your favorite adult performer?
Nacho Vidal
10. You’ve got 20 bucks left to your name; what would you do with it?
Find a way to turn that 20 into 200.
11. If you were president, what’s the first thing you’d change?
I would legalize gay marriage and ban straight marriages… you guys already fucked that up.
12. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
I slipped on the floor at the gas station, landed face first in a mini dress and my dick fell out.

13. Which is your favorite project that you’ve worked on?
A cameo I did for one of Katsuni’s upcoming films.
14. If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?
Who says I don’t already have one?
15. Meat or veggie?
Meat
16. What is your favorite book?
Density of Souls by Christopher Rice
17. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Having to repeat myself to someone who wasn’t paying attention. Or men trying to use me as a collectible .
18. What is your best piece of sex advice for women?
Make sure you don’t use teeth.
19. What is your favorite adult movie?
Domino Presley’s “The Internet Superstar”

20. Tell me one thing you’ve never told anyone else.
I don’t believe in God, but I believe in aliens.
21. As a trans woman in the industry, how do you feel about the language used in porn movies, ie. She-male, Tranny?
I personally hate the words shim, she-male and lady boy… anything that has a male term in it I think is a little bit offensive. But in porn it kind of is what it is… I’m sure genetic females don’t like being called ‘cum guzzling sluts,’ but it’s just the title. “Tranny” is fine to me because it’s just a shortened version of “transsexual.”
22. What do you think is the biggest misconception about trans folks and trans identity in the industry?
I hate that they say transsexuals are the ones with HIV and AIDS in the industry. In fact, the last two people who got booted for it never shot transsexual porn, just gay and straight. In America we have to get tested just like everyone else or we can’t shoot.
23. Do you feel as though your identity and personal sexuality is represented in the movies you perform in?
Kind of… My personality definitely is shown in movies but I’ve shot a few TS on TS scenes, which would most likely never happen with me in my real life. I’m a much bigger slut in porn.
24. Queer porn as a genre is rapidly expanding. Do you consider the movies you perform in queer movies; do you consider yourself a queer performer? Why/why not?
It depends. In today’s society “queer” means gay, and I am not in gay porn, I’m in transsexual porn… if you mean queer with the proper definition, then yes, the porn I shoot is different. I’m a fine ass bitch that just happens to have a dick. I consider myself a porn performer… they’re all “queer” to me.

We here at HotMoviesForHer think Nikki Delano is freaking awesome! We’re totally interested in her dirty movies, but we’re pretty sure she would be super fun to just hang out with (or hit the gym with). She is easy on the eyes and her sense of humor made a lasting impression on our perverted minds. Making us laugh is a damn good way to get into our pants. No nonsense, but not too serious, Nikki is new to the porno biz and loving it. She is keeping her eye on the prize and we’re definitely keeping our eyes on her!
1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I was modeling for over a year and a scout from Brazzers contacted me through my Model Mayhem Page. Model Mayhem is a place were photographers, models and mainstream individuals connect. Nonetheless, I got into the industry 8 months ago (Mmm Fresh Meat). I have wanted to be in porn for awhile, however I was feeling deterred due to stereotypes, family and peer approval.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I would probably be a nun, celibate living in a monastery. Just Kidding, I would have joined the NYPD, or become a teacher or a social worker. I went to college to pursue a degree in Forensic Psychology. My main goal while pursuing a degree was to enter a field in were I would be helping others. I am content with my choice to become a porn star based on my sexual urge to be in the limelight and show everyone my huge appetite for whoopee.
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received in the industry?
The best advice I received in the industry is keep working hard and just have a goal in mind. Porn isn’t forever, be smart, promote and have a long term plan.
4. Whats the funniest things that’s happened to you while filming?
The funniest thing that has happened to me on set is when a male performer was about to cum in my mouth and he accidentally chummed up my nose. Eww gross, a cum booger!
5. What do you think the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
That women are stupid, drug addicts and were victims of sexual abuse. In life, people will always have their perception and beliefs about the sex industry. It upsets me very much, because most people who disagree with porn are not open minded. Sex saves lives and marriages… so shut up and get down to business.
6. What did you do today?
I’m at the airport flying back to L.A. from Columbus, Ohio. I was there to feature dancing at Columbus Gold.

7. What would you rather have done today?
Gotten my vagina banged about 5-6 times. Orgasmic pleasure indeed would have been my ideal day.
8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?
Marilyn Monroe – she was a beautiful woman and is one of my role models.
9. Who is your favorite adult performer?
Jenna Jameson, of course. Very cliche, but I really respect and look up to her.
10. You’ve got 20 bucks left to your name; what would you do with it?
I would buy 14 cans of tuna, crate of eggs and bottle of water. I need protein. Got to feed the muscles.
11. If you were president whats the first thing you’d change?
Sex would be allowed anywhere and everywhere. Fuck this conservative crap! On a serious note, castration or vaginal mutilation to all people who are cruel to animals. I’m an activist and love animals.
12. Whats the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
Bit my lip while talking to a hot guy.
13. Which is your favorite project that you’ve worked on?
Building my own personal website. It was my favorite based on my own personal input on content and the layout in general.
14. If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?
Titty wings. I’d have the ability for my breasts to expand into wings whenever I want to fly to a destination.
15. Meat or Veggie?
Meat. I’m into fitness, therefore anything that fuels my muscles – I’m all for it.
16. What is your favorite book?
“A Child Called It.” I’m into reading books based on actual events. “A Child Called It” is based on a true story of a child who was abused as a child and tortured by his cruel parents.
17. What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who pass gas in public are gross. That’s what the bathroom is meant for. Keep your stinky smells to yourself.
18. What is your piece of sex advice for women?
Sex is the cure to all marital and relationship problems.
19. What is your favorite adult movie?
“Titanic.” I love romantic movies. Each time I watch it, no matter how many times, it brings tears to my eyes and gives me chills. Jackkkkkk don’t go!!!
20. Tell me one thing you’ve never told anyone else.
I want to have 10 kids!

Desiree De Luca, with roughly one year in the adult biz, has already earned the title “legend” for her all natural 34 F boobs. More than just a magical set of breasts, Desiree has a B.A. in Criminal Justice, as well as big aspirations for her future. She hopes to reach the level of porno icons Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick and we’re quite certain that she is well on her way. Sure, it was her radiant red hair and irresistible curves that first got our attention, but it’s the rest that will keep us watching!

1.How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
It all started when I was 17 when I began dancing in clubs in NYC.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I would probably be a cop or something in the criminal justice field.
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
Not that I learned it from the industry, but this is what I do… just be you. But, make sure people don’t walk all over you or take advantage of you.
4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
There’s been some stuff that has happened behind the scenes that I can’t talk about.
5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
People that don’t watch porn think we aren’t ladylike.
6. What did you do today?
I’m spending time with my family today.
7. What would you rather have done today?
Nothing, I am very family oriented.
8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?
I would love to do a mainstream movie with Jerry Orbach who played Lennie Briscoe on “Law & Order.”
9. Who is your favorite adult performer?
I have two — Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick.

Julie Simone is one ferociously badass Jill-of-all-trades. Not only is she a pro-Domme and lifestyle fetish lady (meaning she is a kinkster on and off the screen), Simone is an award-winning rigger (knotting and tying ropes during bondage), porn performer, director and editor – and even sometimes camerawoman. What does this pervy powerhouse NOT do?? Starting off as a glamour and fine art model, Simone stumbled on bondage as part of a photo shoot and fell in love with the whole scene. And we are so glad she did! Recently Julie Simone took some time from her busy schedule to give us the goods – 20 questions style. Hopefully she gives us a little what-for for interrupting her. We were bad girls, Julie, very bad….

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I did some modeling in college, but my first “adult” job was working in a webcam place. I worked my way up to management/marketing and learned about the internet, adult sites and got my start shooting for ALScan.com (as Gillian)
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
Hopefully doing something creative…
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
To thine own self be true.
4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
Falling off an apple box during my 1st strap on scene. My boot heel slid on the latex sheet on the bondage bed and I fell off!
5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
That they’re all raging nymphos. Sadly lots of them are just punching the clock.

6. What did you do today?
Edited a scene from an upcoming DVD, selected images for a motorcycle magazine cover w me as the model…
7. What would you rather have done today?
I have no complaints about today, though I always enjoy days when I do Pro-Domme sessions or film as well… Read the rest of this entry »

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Danny Wylde. He is really good at what he does on camera and one can tell from reading his blog that he definitely has something to say. He speaks out on industry issues and has a great sense of humor. He sounds like a prime candidate for an interview if you ask me.
Without further ado, our first 20 questions interview with a male performer:

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I did my first scene right before I turned twenty years old. I believe it was in the Fall of 2005. I’d recently moved out of my mother’s house to go to school at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Like most young students, I quickly learned the difficulties of financially supporting one’s self while in school. So in the midst of a job search, I applied to Kink.com’s MenInPain.com website as a male model. They called me back the following day and I was shooting for them within a week.
However, I wouldn’t say that I was really in the industry until practically two years later. I moved to Los Angeles to pursue further education and a (now) ex-girlfriend, at which point porn became my full-time job.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I went to film school… so I would probably be doing a lot more low-level production work on mainstream sets, trying to work my way up the ladder in mainstream Hollywood (behind the camera).
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
I think I’ve created a certain dichotomy within myself in regards to my feelings about the industry. I try not to take the actual work too seriously – other than the fact that it’s a job so I need to show up on time and do my best while I’m there. But I’ve never really tried to promote myself in regards to getting more work. Being around long enough (and not fucking up too badly) has inevitably provided me enough work to support myself. I don’t think it’s something people need to stress out about in terms of doing something “right” or “wrong.”
On the other hand, I’ve come to find it very important to take seriously the ramifications of what we do, and how people perceive us. Because in the grand scheme of things, pornography is pushing the boundaries of “free speech,” impacting sexual behavior, and effecting the beliefs outsiders have on sexuality and sex workers. Without some sort of rational voice coming from inside the industry, outside opinions become largely shaped by hyperbole. Read the rest of this entry »

There’s no one word or label that can be used to describe Sophia St. James. She is a variety of things, including a queer femme, West Indian, curvy BBW, dominant, sassy, and gentle, but definitely not only these things.
As far as her background, it’s extensive—she has been a sex worker, erotic entertainer (stripper and burlesque performer), fashion/pin-up/glamour model, FemDom, porn starlet, event planner/promoter, mama, switch, daddy’s girl and slut with an insatiable hunger for all things sexual.

Currently, she’s performing in indie and queer adult movies and is a sexual educator, along with operating her own event production company, Savory Pink Productions. Sophia just recently started her own indie productions studio, SSJ Entertainment, that will feature kinky queer porn.
She has appeared in a variety of a films including Bordello, a Good Releasing film, and The Return of Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls 2, a Bleu Productions/Maria Beatty film. Sophia is also working on her own pay site which will be launched later this year.
1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
In December of 2009, I had slipped off my porch and broke my elbow and torn my meniscus in my right knee. I was laid up in my bed for weeks and while there I was surfing the internet. I came across an article about Madison Young and Syd Blakovich. I then started looking up queer porn and I got hooked. I applied with No Fauxxx and Crash Pad Series and the rest is history.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I would be working in the healthcare profession. I have a need to care and heal others…
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
I would have to say to stay true to yourself. Never allow anyone to tempt you with greatness for being something someone else wants you to be. You can achieve greatness by just being you. Read the rest of this entry »

Twenty questions is back, my friends! While we’ve spent a little more time focusing on doing more video interviews, we haven’t forgotten our love for the written word! And this time up, we have the amazing Misti Dawn!
Now I know, the name Misti Dawn evokes all of these images of Midwestern cheerleaders and wholesome girls next door, but the reality is so much better! This awesome alt princess is crude, tattooed and ready for action – and also from the Midwest, so I wasn’t all wrong. Starting out at a mere 18 years old, Misti has been rocking the scene as both a photo model and porn performer for nearly 7 years (she’ll be 25 this week!). After being a Suicide Girl and a Burning Angel, Misti is venturing out on her own and bringing all the dirty tattooed alt glamour (not to gloss over the amazing nerdiness and wicked gamer skills) to all the projects she encounters. Take a look at what this chick his been up to!

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I guess technically I started when I was 18 modeling for Suicide Girls, then progressing to Burning Angel and more hardcore things. Eventually I started shooting for more companies and here I am. Now I have my own site, www.meowmistidawn.com
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I was in college until last December, the traveling back and forth became too difficult so I moved from the Midwest. I intend on returning and now I think I’d like to get in the gaming industry in some form. Perhaps in HR.
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
To take care of yourself and remember it’s just a job and always be planning for the future. Read the rest of this entry »

“It’s more than… just sex.” It’s your first impression of director Nenna from her website, and one that really encompasses what her work is about. Jumping head long into the queer porn revolution that’s radiating out of San Francisco, Nenna released her very first porno venture earlier this spring – and let me tell you, “Tight Places: A Drop Of Color” was no amateur attempt! With super high quality production and attention to finding performing partners with chemistry, this movie has raised the bar for what I want to see in someone’s first attempt behind the camera.
More than just making awesome porn, Nenna spends her time bringing ethnicity to the forefront of erotic photography and movies, focusing on the politics of race within the industry. In fact, her goal has continually been to empower Persons of Color through erotic and sexual material while dissecting stereotypical images and repainting them with deeper meaning.
A political, smart cookie (not to forget to mention – totally hot) making awesomely hot queer porn movies – how hot is that?!

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I’ve been in the industry for some time now. Not many people know it, but I’ve have a adult toy site which I shut down some time ago. So, I’ve basically been hanging around looking at ways to stay in the industry. Last year I read about Reel Queer (Good Vibrations) [Productions] Film Company and finally got a meeting with Coyote Days. And, the rest is her-story. My first film, Tight Places: A Drop of Color, debuted on May 24th, 2010! With so much excitement, I’m here to stay! Read the rest of this entry »

Tobi Hill-Meyer is a diamond in the rough. Self-identified as “just about your average multiracial, pansexual, transracially inseminated queerspawn, genderqueer, transdyke, colonized mestiza, pornographer, activist, writer,” Hill-Meyer is not your typical porn director/performer. And she doesn’t make typical porn! Seeing the lack of authentic trans-feminine desire and sexin’ in porn, Tobi grabbed her camera and created the awesomely hot Doing It Ourselves: The Trans Women Porn Project.
And with only one movie under her directing belt, Hill-Meyer has already taken home an award for her work – the Good Releasing Emerging Filmmaker Award at The Feminist Porn Awards! We can’t wait to see what comes next! But luckily we got to ask Tobi our 20 questions before she gets way too busy bringing us even more amazing porn!

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I was working a barely paying job as a tutor and being supported by my partner. It was spring of 2007, I needed extra money to get across the country for Camp Trans and a lover hooked me up with a “shemale” porn website. After two shoots, it was clear that it wasn’t a good match. When those shoots confirmed that I couldn’t ejaculate (I did tell them up front) they didn’t want me back, and I was never very stoked on the fact that they used the word “shemale” or having to play to a straight audience.
I had always had a strong appreciation for feminist/queer porn, and had made a few connections into that sub-industry, so I sought out advice and support and began working on my own film, picking up a few feminist/queer gigs along the way.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
My major talent and inspiration has always been in writing. I haven’t stopped, but working on a porn film and distribution has made it really hard to find time to write. I have a half finished erotic fiction zine series that I would definitely be trying to finish. And despite the time drain, I’ve still got into three anthologies last year: “Best Lesbian Erotica 2010,” “Who’s Your Daddy: And Other Writings on Queer Parenting,” and “And Baby Makes More: Queer Parents, Known Donors, and Our Unexpected Families.” Read the rest of this entry »
