Last week JD posted a list of our favorite movies that were justly nominated for AVN Awards this year. It’s awesome to see some of the movies that blew us away on the list, but I was taken aback by how many movies that weren’t on my radar that look super awesome! Today’s list highlights the five movies I had never heard of that I will definitely be checking out in between my holiday baking and present wrapping.
High On Heels: I can’t believe I missed this movie – I am completely in love with Dita Von Teese and would love to be the girl rubbing her feet at the end of a long day. This fetish flick features Ms. Von Teese in every single scene and I can’t wait to review it.
Fuck The World: With nine nominations, including Best High-End All Sex Release, this Club Jenna film was one of the most frequently recognized film this year. It also happens to have Jezebelle Bond’s farewell performance, which I’m sure is going to be amazing and I loved director Jack The Zipper‘s Razordolls.
Naughty Black Housewives: I’m not really into the whole housewives thing, but I’ve got nothing against three hours of hot and heavy XXX action. LT directs and stars in every scene, and I’ve watched enough of him in the past to know this one is worth checking out. I’m especially looking forward to seeing Sky Jolie ride his big dick!
Nymphetamine Volume 3: Nymphetamine is Michael Ninn’s new lesbian series and he’s maintained his incredibly high standards while capturing some amazing girl on girl action in it. I did have a chance to check out one of these earlier and if it’s any indication, I’m going to love this one.
Young Harlots Finishing School: Harmony films are usually pretty hardcore and I kind of love them for it. Not all girl porn has to be full of cuddling and kissing. There were a couple of films nominated from the Young Harlots series this year, so I figure I’d better see what these Brits have been up to in 2009!

Yesterday marked the kickoff of Transgender Awareness Week 2009, the time of year when folks bring special attention to the discrimination and violence that trans people face every day, all for just being themselves. Along with actions, panels, performances and awareness events all over the country, the week culminates with International Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th, when we pay tribute to all the transfolks who have been killed by prejudice and hatred.

When I really like something, I’m the kind of person that decides that it’s my favorite thing ever and takes any opportunity to talk it up. This is true when it comes to porn stars as well. Sure signs the Porn Librarian just tweeted:
1. It’s before 10 am. I’m an early bird.
2. The tweet is about yard work/major home projects. First, I apologize for sharing such mundane acts, but I spend a lot of time doing boring stuff like this because i’m old.
3. Sports tweets. I love sports – watching them, playing them and trash talking your team. Go Phillies. By the way, this definitely includes hiking tweets.
4. Cooking tweets. This one is a bit tricky: I love cooking. JD loves baking. Remember that and you’ll be good.
Sure signs that JD just tweeted:
1. It’s about cupcakes. She loves them and even has the ink to prove it.
2. She’s crafty! JD makes awesome, thoughtful stuff. If someone is talking about something cute and crafty – it’s her.
3. The tweet uses “i can haz” or other popular slang. JD is a lot more hip to what the kids are into these days. I’m too busy yelling at kids to get off of my lawn to pick up on it.
I will admit that there will be plenty of times when it’s impossible to determine who’s who. Here are a few things that can be confusing:
1. The tweet is about an awesome/nerdy girlfriend. We both have super rad bitches who happen to be giant nerds.
2. The tweet is hilarious. Yeah, we’re both totally funny and hot. I’m not sure if the later comes across via the internet, but know it’s true.
3. The sentence ends in an exclamation point. Apparently we’re both really excited! All of the time!
