As I’ve gotten a bit older, I’ve noticed that my tastes have begun to change. While I still have a D.I.Y., rough-around-the-edges sensibility, I’ve started realizing that you really do get what you pay for – and that a little luxury goes a long way.

The tiny piece of high-end heaven that has entered my life as of recent is a piece in sex toy superstar LELO’s newest line of quality vibes, the Insignia collection. When I first spoke with LELO, they asked which Insignia vibe I was interested in reviewing and without a single hesitation as I was all about the Soraya. Designed to please, this twice-the-fun toy is all over the penetration with a nice long shaft (approx. 6” insertable), all the while never lacking anything in the clit department, featuring a long, thin nub that fits in between the inner labia perfectly and rests just right against the your clit. Such a win!

Soraya runs the same way I would assume a Porsche does – performing an effortless dance of precision and carefully harnessed power, all without ever breaking a sweat. This double action vibe brings the best of deep pussy penetration and hardcore clit stimulation to the table with two independent motors that can be used either together or separately. With one motor located in the shaft and the other in the clit-lovin’ nub, Soraya has eight distinct vibrating patterns, as well as the standard more/less buzzing options. And what buzzing it does!

Both motors get seriously strong, and when all systems are go at their highest, I wouldn’t be surprised to float off the bed in ecstasy. As much as I love high speed vibrations, I’m not always that into being penetrated by a buzzing toy, so it was extra hot that I could turn off the shaft and still get full speed ahead directly on my clit. I know it’s not legal to marry a chick, but can I marry a vibrator function? I liked it that much!

Made of high quality matte silicone with a phthalate-free ABS inlay, Soraya is as stylish as she is functional. And we can’t forget about those luscious curves – the swoops and soft angles that work so well when curled up against a lady’s bits. The curves also afford us an awesome design that features a handle, which makes maneuvering Soraya super easy.

The only design snafu that I experienced was that every time I would use the handle, but palm would graze the buttons, which are located on the top of the handle, by the clit nub, and the vibrating pattern would change. Maybe it was just me, but it happened more than once and left me afraid to really use the handle as it was intended for. But I was still able to enjoy the rest of the curves very much.

As well as being awesome structurally, this LELO vibe has so many other pluses – including easy clean up (soap and water or a 10% bleach wipedown – you don’t want to boil or dishwash this vibe), being fully- waterproof, discreetly quiet and rechargeable. In fact, Soraya stays charged and ready to go for 4 hours of sexy fun! One note that I want to be sure to make is that the charger plugs into a small dimple on the handle of the toy. It could be easy to miss, so I wanted to point it out!

I know this big-ticket item may not be a reality for many folks, but I will say that this is the kind of toy you save your pennies for. You’ll never need another rainy day activity again! If quality, style and all around awesomeness are the names of your game, you’ve come to the right place!
