As far as porn flicks that infuse narrative storylines go, this video from Nicholas Steele Productions finds a happy home. Our leading man starts off the viewing pleasure with a scene of perpetual procrastination as he begins his romance novel. Consistently interrupted by noises from his inconsiderate roommate and phone calls from his babysitter of a literary agent, our novelist takes his agitation out within the story through his characters. As the real world fuels the story-world, we get scenes that play out like a story within a story. We are taken to the old west, the frontier land where the backdrop and costumes fit suit.
Befitting a romance novel, the sex scenes are slow and romantic, which makes them more believable. The editing and structuring work extremely well here, giving the sense of two worlds colliding. When the doorbell rings in the writer’s house, the story characters are baffled as to what the noise is. Such is also example of the many writerly distractions.
The best part occurs outdoors when two wild west girls ask for cigars and whiskey, then proceed to have steamy girl-on-girl sex in and out of old-style tin wash tubs. Comic relief also joins in the ranks of my favorite parts, as our writer calls his frustrating roommate a retard. A nice little twist at the end reveals the true identity of “The Novelist.”

 Like most fetish films, “London Fetish Girls” recounts an all-girl, quasi-story in vignettes, utilizing a focus on the instrument of pain, the almost delicate yet aggressive movements of the girls, all that jazz. This flick pushed the envelope in terms of the combined effect of music, fetish-wear, lighting and movement. We open with what appears to be a female corpse (attractive, of course) and another woman washing up to work on the body, but then the woman on the table slab comes to life and is taken care of in a much more lively, sensual way. First a massage, then comes the pain in the form of a tool glowing neon orange, dishing out tiny electric shocks. Inventive stuff. These girls don’t speak throughout the movie–they don’t need to. The music and lights go non-stop, creating a mood that reminds me of walking straight into the London underworld. And you know what? I love it. The first scene is my favorite, so much so that I didn’t want it to end and open up with new girls in a new environment. The scenes which follow do satisfy the fan of all things fetish; however, they pale in comparison to the first. Heck, I’d check it out just for the opener. In my professional, bisexual opinion, you can’t go wrong with two hot blondes dressed like they belong in A Clockwork Orange.

To be honest, I did not intend this to be Venus’s travel blog, but I seem to be traveling so much (and porn traveling, so much better!) that I must share it all!
This past weekend I was whisked away to the Gay Phoenix Forum (yes, in Phoenix), a convention focusing on the gay adult industry. Ho. Ly. FUN. I won’t lie, I worked hard, but what a nice change from the typical straight shows… hot guys and cute boys as far as the eye could see! So they were all gay… it’s all about eye candy.
The first night of the forum kicked off with the 7th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards, hosted by the ultra-fabulous Chi Chi LaRue, director of some of the hottest movies around. Our very own GayHotmovies.com was nominated for best VOD site, but alas, we were robbed. The rest of the nights included dancing, dancing and more dancing! How did I survive it all in one piece? I work hard at this job, I tell ya.

It’s Official – Summer’s Over!
And what a crazy summer it’s been – lots of travels, lots of work, and lots more coming for you! I spent the day at the beach this weekend, thinking back on the whirlwind of the past month and looking for a fresh fall start (by fall I mean autumn, not like a bad start!)… and a big apology for the lack of updates!
In early August I went to a show in Florida, where I was able to meet lots of people who work behind the scenes as well in the action. It’s not the first time I met some of these folks, but one thing I’d like to say is that just about all of them are nice, real people (something that’s always nice to know when you watch some of these movies!).
I got to meet Dave Pounder, a cute, happy, friendly guy who loves his job (though seriously, what guy wouldn’t?). He has 2 studios, Dave Pounder Productions and Daydream Productions – Dave Pounder Productions is my personal favorite because they are fun, silly stories that fulfill that odd fratboy fantasy…
I had a lovely dinner with Joanna Angel (whose interview was just featured) who is about as down to earth as you can get. Also with us was one of the guys from Kick Ass, whose Kung Fu Girls movies always make me giggle (and more…). Both of you, I’m holding you to the potluck dinner we discussed!
Florida’s not complete without catching rays and swimming, where I caught up with Sunny Leone relaxing in the sun and Allie of Naughtie Allie relaxing in the pool. More from them coming soon!

I ended my summer in Montreal (the opposite of Florida!), where the weather was a much more comfortable cool! I got to hang out with Seska again, and enjoy some nice veggie meals and shopping (I wish we had a Lush store here!).

The stylish retro imagery was one of the things that attracted me to this movie, and happily I wasn’t disappointed. This isn’t your slow and sensual “making love” kind of movie, this is your “eat me, fuck me, and eat me again” sort of movie. Not always what I want, but sometimes just all I need. The female dominance isn’t overly strong, it’s more comparable to your typical male dominance in standard porn. The description on the boxcover says it all with “animalistic sex escapade”, as each scene gets hotter and hotter as the movie progresses. Though in my opinion, the two scenes that stand out are the second and fourth. In the second scene, while Penny Flame is having sex on the table with their male “escort”, Daisy remains blindfolded in the chair unable to keep her hands off of herself.
