Hands down, Seka is one of my all-time favorite stars. Also known as the aptly named “Platinum Princess”, she has a natural beauty and looks like she’s having a great time when she performs. My personal favorite were the scarves she and other women wore around their necks in the classic Swedish Erotica series - and then I heard in an interview that she hated the scarves. (But I still love them!)
Seka began performing in 1978 at the time when adult movies were beginning to be shot on video instead of 35mm film. The timing of easier distribution with VHS, mixed with her gorgeous looks and sexual appetite, caused Seka’s popularity to rise to the top and live on today. Although she stopped performing in 1982 for a variety of reasons including divorce, drugs, and money, she began performing again in the late 80s, one movie being Careful He May Be Watching, which she also co-directed. Despite her past troubles, Seka is still known for professionalism and business savviness; since the early 80s she’s worked on her growing fanclub and launched her own website in the early 2000s which she runs herself, Seka.com. In 2002, a documentary film was produced about her, “Desperately Seeking Seka”.
I thought that I couldn’t be more in love with the platinum blonde classic star, but I was wrong… after this interview I just fell a little deeper.
1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I started out in the mid to late 70’s.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I have no idea… most likely I would have a couple of kids.
3. What is the best thing you have learned or best advice you have received from industry.
It was from John Holmes… on my first big movie. He told me to never do any thing I did not want to do or feel comfortable with.
4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
When a director called “CUT” after the male had given his “MONEY SHOT” and I just bluntly said “Cut my ass I’m not done” so I ordered everyone out of the room and the male star and I stayed ’til I was happy. We had so much fun doing that and making everyone else wait for at least an hour or so.
5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in industry?
That we are not “HOOKERS”. What we did we did on the screen and it doesn’t mean we will drop our panties for just anyone or just for money.
6. What did you do today?
I run my own web site www.seka.com and run my entire household from the inside out while my husband is working.
7. What would you rather have done today?
Nothing, I love what I do and who I am.
8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?
I think I would love to do another movie with John Holmes and throw in some of Randy West & Herschel Savage then round it off with a little of Jamie Gillis.

Find a way to turn it into 20 million
11. If you were president, what’s the first thing you’d change?
There are so many …. Gay Marriage, Health Care, Price of Gas and the list goes on and on and on and on…
12. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
Started my “PERIOD” while on stage striping.
